EU\u00b4s ambiti\u00f8se m\u00e5l for at reducere drivhusgasemissioner med 55% indtil 2030 kan n\u00e5s ved at forbedre energieffektiviteten og ved en konsekvent og b\u00e6redygtig erstatning af de fossile energikilder, der anvendes i dag, med alternative Vedvarende Energikilder.<\/p>\n<p>Is\u00e6r inden for varme og k\u00f8ling tilbyder eksisterende Fjernvarme og Fjernk\u00f8lev\u00e6rker i Europa et stort potentiale for levering af klimaneutral opvarmning og k\u00f8ling til store byomr\u00e5der. P\u00e5 nuv\u00e6rende tidspunkt genereres den kr\u00e6vede varme centralt i et Fjernvarme- (eller kraftv\u00e6rk) og transporteres til forbrugerne via et fjernvarmer\u00f8r net. Denne transformation er en proces, der kr\u00e6ver mange mellemliggende trin.
